print books CDs DVDs and other physical items mailed to their home from CU
library or any SWITCH library when you find an item in primo to request sign in to primo click the CUW request or SWITCH request option on the item page choose the personal delivery option or type home delivery into the form for CUW items choose Concordia University Wisconsin for the institution and home
address for the hold shelf location for switch items
type home delivery under additional information library staff will mail the
item to you when it arrives on the Mequon campus from the lending library students and faculty are responsible for the cost of shipping items back to us carefully open shipping material so you can reuse it to send the item back if you just need a single article or book chapter from a print book or journal
use the scan request option when you find a book or journal in primo you're interested in sign in click the CUW chapter request or switch request option on the item page enter the full article or chapter information into the form here's an example of a scan request for a CUW book chapter for article requests delete the text in the article title field to enter the article title items will be sent as an attachment to your CUW email address usually within one to three weekdays all scan requests are limited by copyright restrictions interlibrary loan includes items from libraries outside of switch it is
limited to digital scans or PDFs for distance students please do not request
full books or DVDs unless you can come to the Mequon campus
to pick them up and return them use the interlibrary loan form in portal or
click on request it inside the primo item a librarian will contact you within
24 hours to let you know if we can get the item for you how do you know when to use interlibrary loan vs.
Switch request? inside the item in primo you'll
see no online links and no physical item or switch institutions listed click on request it and fill out the form when you're working on an assignment consider a video consultation meetings can last as little as fifteen minutes and zoom allows librarians to share their computer screen and demonstrate online tools don't have a web camera? no problem students and faculty can join with just
